I have what I think is a female MM platy.
She have the fin like all the rest of the other
females does but.

she does not have a gravid spot ( I know this becuase she is almost see trought)
She chases the females around more than my males.
she has never become pregnant and her body is tight like the male.
when the other females in the tank eat they all look fat when their done,
but she remains the same size like the male does she does not strecth
out at all.

I think I have seen the white ball under her fin but do males have that to
or just females. she looks just like a female but I don't think it is please help

If the gonopodium is not showing, it could be hard to tell in platies...... Have another (close) look at the anal fin & compare it to the rest of your females.....Really sounds to me like you've got another male here.....

It's quite possible.
I've seen fish take over a year to fully develop a gonopodium.
These are always the biggest and strongest platy your ever keep if it is.

However not all platies show gravid spots so you cant be sure on that either.
