'He' is my mate who is annoyed i knew so much on the subject even though he has been keeping fish alot longer than me but what i failed to tell him was i got all my advice from all you awesome people on these forums

I'm scratching my head on this one. Really. This was a very expensive lesson for your friend to learn, I think, awesome176. I hope he's learned it though. I agree with others that he really should join forums like this so he can get help and advice from others who may have learned similar lessons in the past. It would help him avoid making mistakes like this in the future.
 
I doubt he will join but i will show him this topic next time i see him
