Is Gallon Water Safe?

Okay, so after a few water changes with the park water where I live(not on city water) and having continuous fish infections, no matter if I pre-treat or not. I wonder if it would be simpler and safer to just use store bought gallon jugs. And if its okay, what kind should I use?
 
Someone will likely be able to advise to specifics... but the water is fine, just sometimes if its been distilled or whatnot its lacking in some required nutrients that you may have to re-add... I've never done that before but I'm sure someone else will come along and be able to say something useful to that tune!
 
Do they have the mineral content listed on them, as mineral water is thick with ... well minerals. We were having a conversation in a different thread where
I recommended someone use some 2 litre supermarket bottles of a particular brand, because it had been exposed in the newspapers that it was purely filtered tap water and it was very cheap to buy in large quantity.
 
I wasn't able to look at the jug ingredients, but I was wondering if anyone else had checked
