As advised, I have researched the Fluval 240 and must say that it looks a great tank. However, I want this tank to be my last one EVER so should I consider going even larger? I have 3 goldfish but wish to get Black Moor - if I hopefully have all 4 for the next number of years will a 240 suffice?

If you can fit a bigger tank to fit. GO BIGGER! All though the 240 is a very nice tank to look at, its the fish inside that matter!

I would also say you may want to look at a 6*2*2 ft tank as a last, and that will hold more fish as well :) The 240 is a very good size for the next 4-5+ years, but eventually, they should have slightly bigger.

At 240 litres, that tank is large enough for just the 4 goldfish. The problem many of us have is that we are only satisfied with a particular selection of fish for a short time. After that we end up with more or larger tanks. My own largest is 6 feet long but I have plenty of tanks at 3 and 4 feet each and a total of 26 with fish in them plus a few others that are presently dry but could have fish in them next week if something comes up that I want. Not many people get quite as carried away as I have, but there are plenty of people with 5 or more large tanks.
