Usually I would advise believing Fishbase first. Fishbase states which scientific papers it gets it information from, so you can check on where they get it from.
If you aren't sure on fishbase consider checking Wet Web Media. Bob Fenner runs a fiarly good ship over there. It should be noted that size errors in Fishbase are few and far between (with Antennarius dorehensis being one).
