Iphone Folks

I have an iPhone 5 (first smart phone I've ever owned) an xmas pressie from hubby anyway, I haven't updated the last update they sent me, and have just received another now - 6.1.4.

Has anyone updated this? Has it deleted any data/apps?

Reason I ask is the last update I did on the iPad it removed the YouTube app on it (before the YouTube app was out) so I'm always dubious of doing the updates now.

I was fairly sure there was a big thing with Youtube and apple where they didn't allow them to have there app on IOS. It's still on android devices as its owned by google anyway.
 
I don't know weather it got fixed or not but you'll need to update to get updates on maps, other apps etc it's always well worth keeping an up to date phone.

I have iPhone 5 and I did the 6.1.4 update about a week ago and my youtube and other apps are fine
