Intruder In The Tank!

Well, every day seems to bring up something different... today I returned home from work to find a maggot/catterpillar type thing encased in a leaf and attached to the side of the tank - it's as if it made a cocoon to protect itself. I have tried looking at the hitchiker thread and using google but can't seem to positively identify it. Could it be a young Caddisfly larvae?
I have attached a piccy - is this the best way to add pics??
Can anyone identify it?

I had one if these years ago, I can't remember what they are, some kind of aquatic caterpillar, but it was harmless.

Yep its a moth caterpillar, toally harmless

Thanks, that's good to hear. It is actually quite ingenious - it must have chewed off a bit of leaf to wrap arounds itself, I guess it probably came in on the plants.
