So after what has seemed like forever mama guppy finally had her brood, i have managed to count 18 but as they never stop moving that may not be an accurate number.
so here is mama on the 14th May, she had her fry 2 days after i took this picture fish 3 005.jpg

and these are her new fry taken this moring so a few hours oldfish 3 025.jpg

They are all fine so far, going to move them into the fry tank later.

Cute!!! :hyper: Make sure you acclimatize them properly because they are so young and quite sensitive :)

Great job! You gonna try to start some new lines? ;)

That was the plan, I have kept 1 male from the last drop. I have two more females that are quite close to dropping( I think) and those will be the first drops from males that I have in my tank. Next few weeks should be fun

Day 2 and babies are all doing well. I am feeding them crushed up flakes at least 3 times a day, but have kept them in the net for now as it is easier for me to keep an eye on them while they are still tiny.

So I did a large water change on the fry tank yesterday and let the babies out of the net, they started exploring straight away and the bigger fry seem to ignor them, they are all starting to look like little fish now not just big eyes with tailes.
