Interpret Antifungus Is Crap

Even at a treatment of 15gallon on a 22gallon tank,
MY fish gasp (even with my filter outlet bashing the surface)

its managed to disintegrate 3 of my snails (all mushy and dead)

Every time I use it this happens time to throw it away and try another med
p.s It also aint working.

I agree never rated the med myself.
Snails are funny with meds best to issolate them.
Did you use an airstone for extra aeration with adding the med.

Have always found a combination of Melafix and Pimafix to be more effective treatment. More expensive but certainly works.

i've used it twice in the past, been excellent both times, sorted out the problem (fungus) without causing any problems it's self.

I've used Waterlife Protozin to treat fungus a couple of times. Works great even at half dose. Give it a try!

Well I have been fighting this fungus/bacteria for 6 months now so its for sure not Columnaris/Flexibacter (spellings)

tried Melafix but not primafix I'll try all med suggested here as I want more fish but not currently up for it.

EDIT: Nope no airstone added for extra air,but considering it was dosed lower than said and my 2236 is Well overfiltering my tank and making ALOT of disturbance should be acceptable

Snap, except I use tea tree oil which is what Melafix is, so it makes it cheaper. Very effective that combo though

I've always had good results with Interpet medications but there are lots of factors to take into account when using any medications.

I dont know if your current stocklist in your profile is correct but if so then that could explain why the fish are gasping, Danios are sub tropical fish that need slightly cooler highly oxygenated water to survive, adding any medication to the water lowers oxygen levels and if you have snails in the tank which have died and started decomposing thats only going to make matters worse. Neons are just horrendously sensative to any chemicals.

I removed the Snails when I noticed them,
So only overnight they were in there.

All is back to normal now after 50% water change,
and my Stock list in profile is wrong,
I don't have Danios or RTBS just Tetras and a Bristlenose
