Interpet Fish Pod Light Help.

Im sorry not sure this is in the right place, Twice in a couple of months my light has blown in my interpet tank this is the one I have to buy http/www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004YJKARG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 at £10 or more a time im getting annoyed now

I guess must be my unit blowing it? the last one lasted around one month

do you know of a alternative bulb I can buy that will cost less? as I cant keep buying these, they have a big screw end, ive found a energy saving I had in the draw and it fits tho its so dim. hope you can help.

I feel your pain - the custom Interpet lights are horrible, expensive and very hard to get hold of now... I hate them!
 
The last time I had to replace one I bought these from CP Lighting: http/www.cp-lighting.co.uk/GE-15W-E27-865-Daylight
 
They fit and are the correct wattage although somewhat shorter than the original bulb.  I think I had to replace one after a few months but at least they are cheaper.
