Hi all

I originally bought a interpet liquid test kit,the ph in my tap water and tank has regularly been showing 8.5.
Well i noticed on the ph broad range colour results chart theres quite big gaps between each readings,i.e the ph levels go 4.0, 5.0, 6.5, 7.0, 8.5, 9.0.so i was wondering could it be possible that my own ph level of 8.5,is actually less due to the fact there's quite a big jump from 7 upto 8.5 on the test card??

I have now ordered a API master liquid kit,has it appears alot of you use this one, :good:

Now i'm worried my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings may not be showing the correct levels of each, the lfs which is about 3 miles from me say there ph is 7.6

What do you all think? does anyone else use this kit?

From reading dozens of different cases here I've never been able to quite put together a distinct opinion about the interpet kit. Seems like its been more than 50% ok, with some smaller percentage of users having problems and switching. The track record definately seems more spotty than the api and nutrafin kits.

~~waterdrop~~

Thanks :)
Proof will be testing with the api kit when it comes. :good:
