Internal Or External Filter

Well, from the title of the topic u can pretty much guess what the question is!

i plan to use it as a community based tank, hopefully with alot of plants and light.

The reason im asking is because the tank wont be on a cabinet and so i cannot really hide an external filter anywhere. But i would still like to know whats best, cos maybe from there i can make a plan!

Yeah teaker ive been following that discussion aswell, hence why i started this one, as it doesnt quite answer my question!

You got more info on those power heads?

I don't personally use them but they have a lid which the power head lifts water into a tank area in it. this is filled with media baskets like an external filter and the water then drains in a spray bar type slots back into the tank. rocket trading sell them here

My local store sell them in black,silver or beach I believe the make is fish r fun

for a pic-the ones at my local store have 4 or more media sections and I believe all parts including hood can be bought seperately.
maybe someone will know more about them if you post question about tank hood with intergrated filter and say wether they are good/bad or okay
