Internal Bio filter

Tank is 65 ltr with plants and 2 black mollie fish.
The filter is Duwel the make and came with the tank.
I have been running the filter for just over 3 weeks and the water is clear.
The question is do I need to have the filter on at night, so far it has been running none stop.
The reason is my sister in law some times stays the night and the tank is in her bedroom, (spare room).

Hi, yes you need it to run at night as well to keep the bacteria that live in the filter fed

Thanks for the reply, I have now moved my sister in laws bed to the other spare room.
I also have reduced the bubble intake tube and it still puts bubbles out but is a lot quieter.
