One of my Zebra Danios got quite dmamaged yesterday when she got stuck behind the fileter.
At first I thought she would be OK, as this has happened before and the other fish was fine.
But she actually has a deep cut on her face (you can see blood) and a big scrape down her spine and her top fin looks damaged too.
I'm not sure if she will get better
Has anyone here had injured fish recover? How long does it take??
This morning the scrape on her back looks white and a bit fluffy. Is this a fish scab? or has she picked up a fungus in her injuries??
I'll try to take a pic later.
Any advice is welcome
I've removed the suction cup thingo that they got stuck behind and have jerry-rigged the filter with wire so it won't happen again!
