Info Wanted

No experience, but it certainly looks interesting.

It is running on DC, so the wave function will be sustainable and not damaging to the pump. I would be wary of tax implications though. You will probably have to pay 17.5% VAT on it, and possibly duty as well, so the price may go up by a quarter.

The £50 for pump and flying over could get close to £65-70, though even then this would be somewhat of a bargain.

Found allot of info on some Malaysian reef forums and after translating them found that most only last 8 months and they are described as a 'disposable wavemaker' To to it of because of the wide flow pattern the flow will only reach across 2ft on the highest setting! so I'll need to in a 4ft Long tank. Also they've been described as bulky.

All this an I had a work with the shipper and it looks like I'll have to pay £20 postage and have a gamble at customs.

MMMMmmmmmm...........

Do we think is worth it?

The longevity worries me, as does the short flow length, though I fear that may be due to people changing from laminar to stream powerheads. You can't really feel the effect of propellor powerheads any real distance from the powerhead, but can see it with food.

It does seems slightly bulky, but then it is 15,000 LPH.

It is a really hard call. You don't know exactly how much it is going to cost, and it may not even last a year. On the other hand, only unhappy people complain, and if it works well it is almost certainly going to be a bargain.

Real tough call, I reckon.

Thanks for the help I think.

You know the feeling after payday when you want some new toys to play with instead of buying the things you realy need like 24x12x15 QT tank and salt and new carbon. bulbs.

But I realy want a new toy!

Although I've never heard of/seen that specific product, I have unfortunately also heard/read of reliability with Resun products... Wish I could be more help
