Hi all i have new lifegard thermometer. and new TMC V2 Therm Digital Heater 300w my problem is my heater reads 26 and my thermometer reads 25.4 so witch is right there brand new.

The accuracy of the digital thermometer is +/- 1 degree C (1.8 degree F). I believe you are doing well.

0.6 of degree is hardly worth bothering about. But I would suggest they are both right. The heater is a heater, so it is possible the water near the heater is slightly warmer than the rest.

Overall I trust my independant thermometer over my heater, but you really don't need to worry unless they are widely different.
