Hello,
I was looking for betta supplies a min ago and saw indian almond leaves i was just wondering what they are? and what they are used for? what purposes do bettas need them for?
Cheers,
Luke.

the leaves or the extract is used to make the water more like it is in their natural environment. It adds humic acid and tannins to the water. Lowers the PH etc etc I use betta spa, which is an extract of almond leaves and a few other things as well which also help bind ammonia, add calcium to the water and so on. The bubble nests end up stickier and its good for conditioning bettas for breeding.
