Indian Almond Leaf

So I got some IAF after reading all kinds of good things about it - plus one of the breeders I purchased a betta from sent some along as a free gift.

What I want to know is how long do you leave it in the tank? The breeder says it can stay in there till it disintegrates completely, but I have also read to take it out when it starts to feel slimy.

Opinions? Your experiences?

just put about an inched square in the water will go brownish but thats normal it will float for a while I usually replace mine after it has sank and been at the bottom for about 3 days. Its up to you really! but I remove mine when its been on the bottom for a bit I dont wait for it to dissolve

Ditto what Tilly said above. How much you put in also depends on the size of tank. I would only ever use a whole leaf on a tank that was 10gal +.
