Increasing Turnover

So, I understand for my plants to do their best I need ot be looking at 10x (or greater) turnover.
My Fluval 405 gives a theoretical 225ghp which is about 3x turnover on a 72Gal.
What is the best and what is the simplest way to increase the turnover without turning my tank into a whirlpool?

use a wavemaker, like a koralia which distributes flow over a larger surface area rather than powerheads which are like a jet lol.

Yoiuw ill be surprised how little flow there actually is.
