Increasing Ph

How do i increase the pH on my tank

At the moment the tank has a pH of only 6.4 anybody got any suggestions?

Hi Blaine.

I had my PH go down to 6.0 a week or so ago, and I put some coral gravel in a small mesh bag and put it inside my filter, within 2 days the PH had risen to 7.0, at which stage I removed the gravel, and th PH has held ok.

we lost 4 out of 5 new fish today when we added them to the tank

(3 brand new glass cats 2 thingys ((AJs description)))

only thing still alive and kicking is a bumblebee catfish

Can ph alone kill fish?

Well i checked the other levels and everything else was fine
