Came across this photo. And they're labeled as being endlers or endler hybrids. The text was:
"20 x Assorted Endler Guppy Males (Poecilia reticulata x wingei, Livebearer) – AquaSnack Blog"
But I can tell that a number of them are not endlers nor endler hybrids. But a 100% Poecilia reticulata. For instance, panda guppy, maple leaf guppy, Ginga rubra guppy, etc (so, there are more). I also see a wildtype guppy. Just because they're small guppies, they are unfortunately labeled as being endlers. The commercial world is mostly to blame for this.
I think it's most frustrating to people like me, who are more serious into these two species. But it's even more frustrating when I see that someone who calls himself/herself a specialist in guppies and endlers but doesn't use the right names. And that happens way more than you might think.
