I have a group of fry I can sorta tell their sexes but I'm not positive. Would any harm come from it if I left them together till I can tell for sure their sex. Like for instance if they do actually breed would it kill them when they had the babies?

Yer I left mine for a long time my male to female ratio was about 4:40. It might be a good idea to begin to seperate when you notice the more colourful males chasing each other or thier sisters. But you shouldn't have a problem for a while. Best way to tell sex- males will always be the first to develop colour in the tail, females take a long time.

Good luck with raising them... my local store gave me money for mine (until I gave them 30, at which point they wern't to keen)
