Keep getting asked what I want for Xmas...
I'm tempted by a in-line CO2 reactor, to replace my diffuser) for a few of reasons:
1. Get kit out of the tank. Not really a big "pro" cos the diffuser is tucked away quite nicely.
2. Not have to worry about cleaning the diffuser.
3. More efficient diffusion, therefore, more value from a cylinder of CO2.
1 & 2 are no brainers, however, I am a little uncertain about 3. It seems to stack up, given that most of my diffuser bubble reach the water surface before they've melted in to the water. However, there is usually more to these things than meets the eye.
Therefore... I'd be grateful for feedback about the theory, the value of using a reactor on a 60cm tank, and also recommendations for a reactor.
Cheers
