Ive had tank for a while now without any problems but last night a did a water change, didnt do anything different then i normally do and tonight most of my fish are breathing rapidly and my plecos are releasing air bubbles then rushing to the top of the tank and back down. Whats wrong and how do I fix it???

How long has your tank been running and what size is it?

Which fish do you keep?

What are your water stats\?

What filters do you have?

common plecs always go up for air approx once every 10 mins - you should see them releasing the bubbles then going up for more air

how long have you had the tank set up and how long have you had the plecs

your tank is overstocked, do you know your water stats?
1 oscar alone needs at least a 55 gallon tank :(
do you do a gravel vac with the water changes?
how long has the tank been running?

do you add dechlorinator to the water ?
how long was the tank set up before you added fish ?

what are the water stats

ammonia,nitrites,nitrates ph and temp

tank is 81, has been set up for 6 months, and plecos never went for air b4. i lowered the water for more agitation from filters... they seemed to act normal again.... filled the tank and a day later same prob.... must be an o2 prob.... and im getting an 80 gal very soon... more reccomerndations need please
