Im Using Tropica Mastergro

well im looking into mixing up something comparable but dont know what is similar//would that be pmdd? i know tropica is expensive but wanted to give it a go

in my tanks right now i have flouite which i $15 for a 15 pound bag where i live and eco-complete $25 for 20 pound bag. i would reccomend both of these.

Eco-Complete is a planted substrate he asked about mstergrow which is a liquid fert. I would reccommend the aqua essentials trace I am using it and am liking the results! I have used mastergrow mysel fin the past and feel that the aqua essentials trace is just as good so far.

I also use AE trace in my EI regime, dosed in the concentrations specified by AE. 1 tblsp trace to 500ml water and then 10ml of this solution per 100l tank water each dose, Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri

It contains the following elements:

Boron 1.06%
Copper 0.23%
Iron 8.2%
Manganese 1.82%
Molybdenum 0.15%
Zinc 1.16%

It will work out a lot cheaper for you as well.

so ChrisP are you mixing your own trace from the aquaessentials dry powder trace mix or is there a ready mixed solution im missing? im assuming you mean the powder. thanks

i would also presume he is mixing the powder because they don`t do a premixed version of their own brand .

not hard, just get a small bag, some deionised water and ur ready to go!.

Yes I am mixing the dry fert with water, I think the 125g bag of trace from AquaEssentials will last me well over a year on my 180L dosed 15ml 3x a week.
