Im Trying To Bring My Babies Home :(

im so heartbroken.

ive just seen an ad in the local paper 'oscar couple for sale' i recognised them immediatly.

they are my babies waldorf and statler who are supposed to be living it out in the zoo.

it seems the guy i handed them to misled me. they never even made it into the tank he showed me at the zoo. he took them home for his own tank and kept them with freshwater rays and bgk's. now they are causing trouble he's trying to sell them;


ive mailed him, tried calling him but no answer. i am so angry i am tempted to call the zoo and speak to his manager. i still have all the emails of him promising the home for life at the zoo.


i just want to bring them home now. i feel so sad angry stupid and so sorry for the oscars, god knows what they've been through


please please wish me luck in getting them back, if i have to pay the guy i will i just want my babies home now

Oh hon, thats terrible, poor babies, I would contact the Zoo too, see if you can get in touch with him that way and tell him to just bring them back.

thank minx, im sat here crying with anger, i should never have let them go but at the time we were going through hell.

even my boyfriend has said if i can find the guys address in the old emails, hes gonna go round if we hear nothing and see what he says face to face

dont blame yourself this guy obvious;y talked the talk and is a complete nob you thought the fish were going to a pukka tank in a zoo so thought you were doing best for them .

maybe you could get somebody to make contact and do the transaction for you as its pretty clear he ignores the calls etc as he knows its you.

haha don't mince your word's mark.......Yes i was going to say the same thing, get someone else to do the transaction, then go with you friend, get the fish, then you can confront him once fish are in your care

ugh thats terrible....any idea on the conditions they were kept in? Hope you can get them back i can't belive they did that.....you should call the cops but they probably couldn't do anything, but they might get your fish back

two days to go. fingers crossed all goes well. guy has been in contact today to confirm sunday 11am but it took many messages to get his house number out of him.
oh god i hope everything goes according to plan. its an hours drive to get them i hope he will give them back
