Never been a fan of livebearers as you quickly become over run with fry that you need to seek homes for, go for the betta and give a poor fish a new lease of life..

A betta would be very happy with that sized tank to himself. I say go with the betta.

Were can i get a really good one from, The ones thay have at my LFS are the usual blue ones.

I want something fantastic!

I believe www.aquabid.com is a good place to look for every tail type imaginable, as well as wild caughts. If you post in the betta section, they can give you more ideas, there are also quite a few breeders in there as well.

Wow they fetch some cash!! Are they hard to breed? I guess i should ask in the Betta forum eh ....
