Im So Exciiited, I Cannot Hiddee Itt!

The pH does seem a bit high try lowering it. It might help the fish when they are trying to settle in because most fish stores have a pH close to 7.

yes everything seems fine except the ph, lower it to about 7

My water is so ahrd you cant adjust it, i tried. My ph is the same at the stores, unless the tank has the ph lowered( they use some super expensive stuff as nothing else works). So, the ph shouldnt be the problem.

I pop the bag and let it float in the tank. Every 10 mins or so, i will take a syringe and squirt some tnak water into that bag and let it sit. A fter about 45 mins to 1 hours, i will dump the water into a net, and put the fish in the tank, as i dont want to contaminate.

I put the net over a bucket and the pour the water into the bucket, letting the fish fall into the net, then i put the fish in the net and use the other tank water on my plants

Duck and Dive: I have already asked that, the only differnce is the nitrate, mine is about 5ppm lower on a good day.

Shelaghfishface: thanks, they seem to be fine.

Wow.. PICS!! (I'll take over from your job as camera vulture since this is your thread! lol)

You've got to find a decent lead stud - how are the feeders going? My LFS has some decent males now, just a couple weeks after I got so frustrated I said 'stuff guppies'. Still, most of them are still such rubbish they need serious work. I don't have the room for a breeding project of any description so I guess I just ignore them... lucky you don't have to.

My feeders, every single last one of them, died from a mysterious disease that kills all my guppies, so, no feeders to work with atm. My fema;e gave birth to a bunch of dead babies. A few are alive, but the rest are dead. Dont know what went wrong. Ohhh well, there is always next time. I would love to take pic's, but im not sure you guys really want them as you barley be able to see anything!
