I'm Not Sure How My Tester Works. Please Help! :)

I have this TetraTest 5 in 1 Strip tester kit, but i'm not sure what im ment to be looking at since what fish im going to be getting. I want to get 7 Blue Neons, 7 Black Neons, 5 Cherry barbs and 5 Cory's. So i'm wondering if you can help me.

The strip test kits are pretty worthless, I'm sorry to say. You should really return it and get the drop test kit, which is not only more reliable, but is much more cost-effective.

Edited to add: I'm fairly certain that no matter what fish species you get, you'll be looking for the same qualities in your water, the only difference being a salt water tank versus a fresh water tank.

For your fish, you'd want to test the pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrates.
