So within the first oh, 15 minutes of becoming a member on here, I've realized the only fish I never researched, and the fish I was hoping to give away, is the worst fish EVER to put in the tank:
Chinese Algae Eater
I have 8 neons, 6 zebra danios, my 5"+ CAE, and a new upside down catfish in my 46 gallons of hexagonal emptiness.
I was hoping to find a new home for my CAE because it's gotten SO big, but now I'm seeing that I may not be able to. I've had it for months now, I don't think I'll be able to return it.
I'm feeling that my best chance may be to bag him up and drive 45 minutes to a little privately owned fishstore (calling ahead of course)
I'm hoping someone can advise me what to do with ym CAE, and also any suggestions for some tank mates. If I don't find something soon, I'm going to give up and go oscars, but I have no experience with them. Thanks!
