Ever since I can remember my mom has wanted to get a backyard pond. She wants something really simple with running water and live plants. A lot of things have happened to her this year and I really want to make an epic pond for her, and since I have never made a pond before I was wondering if anyone would love to bounce ideas with me.
As it is right now I plan to have a medium sized cattle feed troft filled with rocks for hiding places and a few aquatic plants for the fish to hide in. It will have to be raised above ground. I know that I probably will have to have a filtration system of some sort and a pump to make running water. As for stocking probably some goldfish and misqueito fish. Other than that I am lost.
