well i have 6. 2" - 2.5" rbp's. well i just looked at them a little bit ago, and i noticed that they all have a blueish/diamond color scales on the top of them, and their tail fin is turning blue too. i thought that rbp's were suppose to get a dark grayish color on the top and a red undercolor, not blue...

another question. i starved my p's for about 12 or so hours and i put in a minnow, and they don't do anything. y aren't they hungry? they only go phsyco after bloodworms and flakes, but not fish, beef, chicken, or liver. i figured they'd go physco since theres blood everywhere, but they don't...well thnxs for the replys.

I'm not sure on the color question, but you should not feed your fish liver. Animal fats could be a problem for a fish to digest. Maybe you parrots got used to what they were fed at the store, so you should stick to what they like and not the bloody stuff that you might see in a movie with piranhas...

Some Piranah change colour when they are in season.
