i sold my 200ish litre tank a while back and now only left with 'simon' the fighter fish in a nice tank in the kitchen.....

im now possibliy thinking of getting a 50ish litre tank for my room - something more manageable imo.....

im thinking of making it into looking like a marine tank (but it will be tropical)

if i dont do that im think of breeding - but not sure what???

any ideas what i can keep in that or breed init??

thanks :)

Endlers livebearers and guppies would be a good choice, although you will need more tank space for the young if you plan to get males and females.

I'm no marine expert, but I believe that you need loads more space per fish than in freshwater. You could do a nano reef with shrimp as I have seen these tanks set up on more than one ocassion.

Just a thought, you could do a shrimp tank with cherry shrimp or other species. They will breed readily if the conditions are right.

A nice colony of Heterandria formosa can be maintained in a tank that size but they won't have the bright colors of reef fish.

thanks

any other suggestions of small fish i can pu in???

are there any freshwater hermit crabs??
