It appears that both of my apsitos have fathered offspring. Without me noticing Flash and the agassasi red tail families have raised fry. There are at least two orange flash young men and at least one agassazi red tail young fellow hanging with their respective papas. B)

Great :D The same thing happened with my goo obo gudgeons, the pair hasn't bred in months but I saw one 1/2" fry from the old pair

Good luck with the apistos, and watch out for more eggs :p

I'm still trying to id the juvie lads from the mamas. These guys are no longer babies at all, guppies everywhere. (You need a nickname. :p .) The orange flash cockatoos are teenagers with adult color. Flash is chasing one of his boys away. The one I thought was a redtail boy may be the female mate.

What I can't figure is where are the girls in the spawn? I just don't have time to sit and watch the tank. It's the 100 usg. with a multitude of fish. I also guess I'll have to find the new boys homes cause I think 5+ apisto males is too many to live in happy harmony.

The eggs would be in a cave, dwarfs :p
