ok so im pretty sure my labs had a little fishie. i think he is a bout a week old. i think i said i can be wrong. i have a lot of caves in my tank. i was looking last week and i looked and there is a little guy under this rock. and he hasnt gotten eaten yet. but will he get eaten. should i take him out or leave him., he has been eating becuase i will see him stick out his head grab food and go right back in and what i can see from no one has tried eating him yet. key word yet. i wasnt really trying to bread this kinda just happened but i am so happy. there might be more but i dont know but im pretty sure its a lemon yellow becuase that is the only same kind of fish i have in there.

thanks andy

I also had 4 teeny lab babies that I noticed in my tank they were miniscule. At that time I wasn't interested in breeding and didn't have a fry tank. I just left them to take their chances. Now they swim with the big fish and they are still pretty small. Just leave them to it. :good:

well you have 2 options really.... leave him in there and there is a chance he will survive and become a big fishy... or you can remove him, and place him into another tank and let him grow nice and big then place him back into your other tank... i have a friend that started with 2 Labs, and now she has around 25-30, and thats without removing any babies, so jus provide lots of hiding places, and he will probably do alright :) good luck :good:

i think im going to let him be he has a lot of hidding spaces. thanks for the help guess

see i think with fry that you should leave them in as that way its more natural numbers survive as in the wild you most probably wouldnt get all fry surviving would you. keep it natural thats my opinion with tank related stuff.
