i am realy realy bored and coulnt sleep last night so here are a few pics of my marine tank

and heres a pic of my lump head cichled i git yesterday. he has settled in quite nicely and eats bloodworm like he has never seen it before

that is his lil cave where he hangs out and sleeps

How long has the tank been setup? How many gallons does it hold? Is that filter the only thing to give current?

Aren't Hump/Lump head cichlids freshwater... if so he'll most end up dieing shortly.

DiscusAngel you are correct the lumphead is know by a few names, buffalohead and blockhead are most common (steatocranus casuarius) they come from the congo river basin where they live in fast flowing rivers.

But I don't think you should be feeding it bloodworm, the quickest way to cause bloat

no its not in sw im not that stupid. i have been feeding it a mixture of live dafnia frozen brine shrimp dried brine lil bit of bloodworm and flake and pellets

Im just curious where is all your flow coming from in your tank?

yes it is easy to maintain but only if your keeping hardy fish because i have heared that because it is so small things like calcium levels and things like that can fluctuate so if you get a nano your best off just keeping hardy fish. right my flow on the top as you can see in the pic is a pump (forgotten the name) but it can do 52 gallons to the hour(not sure have to find the bx but its something like that. and the water is constanly moving wuth my gsp flowing nicely.
