arggggggggggggjhhhhhhhh

How long have you had the tank set up ?
How long have you had the guppies ?
Were they perfectly ok when you got them ?
What size tank, tank mates etc. ?

sorry

tank is roughly 15 gallons

few neons, 2 other guppies and a BN plec and a apple snail

she has been in the tank for near on a month and has allready given birth to healthy fry, the tank has been up for 2 months but was cycled using media from a year old tank

How many gallons does the tank hold that she is currently in and what exactly are your ammonia, nitrate and nitrite stats? Your female guppy has a swim bladder disorder if she cannot maintain balance in the water/stay upright- water quality problems and internal bacterial infections are usually the cause of this.

Mmmm - sounds odd then. When did you do your last tank clean / water change ?
Have you introduced any new fish into the tank recently ?
Or used any meds in the tank?

water change happens every sunday, and occasionally a small one on a wednesday.

it is very peculiar. she is just resting face down on the gravel with her tail in the air

Tokis i am gonna do another water test now to double check

she has passed over. :byebye: :byebye:

i am gutted, i really look after my fish and never had a casualty before.

i am gutted. she had sucha good character would alway come to the front when i cam in the room and always hide behind a leaf when i feed the tank then swim out as if to scare me

what should i do to the tank ie how bigger a water change, i dont have any meds except the fin rot med.

gutted :-( :-(

Oh dear :byebye:
How are the others doing ? It might be that something during the water change yesterday upset them. Did you use your normal dechlor ? And if so, how full is the bottle currently and how long have you had it ? i.e. if it's old or there was only a bit left, that might have been the cause. I wouldn't say a bigger water change is necessary. Your water stats are fine and the water seems nice and clear. The usual 20-30% should be fine.

thanks

the dechlorinator is only about 2 weeks old. the other fish and snails seem fine, one thing i have noticed tonight is i have at least 2 snails that i never knew i had they look like small cones and move fairly fast on the glass could this mean something
