help please, i have 5 adolfi corys and one of them (i think its a female) has been acting out of caracter.

tank size 200l
tank temp:26
PH: 7.4
Ammonia:0ppm
Nitrite:0ppm
nitrate:30-40ppm
Gh:NA (ill post later)
KH:NA (ill post later aswell)

shes been losing colour on her back and the orange around her face. i think shes lost some barbles somehow which might be causing this.
She just sits around the top breathing heavily, but no other fish are having any effects. no bloating is present.

no new additions for 3 weeks which was a LDA33 (snowball pleco) who is at 2" in size

any help please? it might be to late

Corys are more prone to bacterial infections.
They can get bacterial infections in there barbels.
The white patch is it on her tummy region does it look bleached out.
If she heavy breathing it dosnt sound good bless her.
You will need a bacterial med.

i have melafix and shes in a hospital tank now.
the guy at the LFS said i should use Melafix. i cant sea her tummy because she is sitting on the bottom but her breathing has slowed. aslo my LFS said it might be because of bullying, she has always been an "outcast" and never realy gone to fead much because she is so much smaller than the others (they were the same size when i bought them).

but ill do my best an use melafix, ive got my fingers crossed for her.

Ok, but melafix is only good on cuts and wounds.
Good luck.
