Well, it looks like he has a tumor growing from his right nostril. It was all pale yesterday, and today it's growing fungus and also what appears to be a pus filled blister. This thing is about half the size of a pencil eraser. The cichlid is eating and acting normally. Water quality is great. Stas are as follows:

Tank size: 32 Gallons ( 30"L 20"H 12.5"W)
Ph:Between 6.5 and 6.8
Ammonia:0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: Around 5
Plants: Lightly planted. Many floating plants, mostly water wysteria
Livestock: 2 corydoras catfish, 3 neon tetras, 1 keyhole cichlid, 1 cockatoo dwarf cichlid
Changes in tank in the last week or so: None aside from the movement of one sword plant from one side of the tank to the other today.
Added chemicals: Leafzone for the plants

Here is a pic:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. All other fish appear to be healthy.

Thank you

Can you issolate the fish as I would try a bacterial med on him, as you don't want the blister bursting in the tank and infecting the tank.

Yes, I can isolate him. I was going to use Fungus Clear Tank Buddies for him. I have Maroxy by Mardel, too. Which do you think would be best?

This Fungus Clear says it clears up bacterial stuff as well. I may as well give it a shot, I was just initially concerned about the fish's senstivity to medications and the like. He's in a 10 gallon tank now on his own. Hoping he'll pull through okay.

Don't forget to increase aeration in the tank.
Good luck.
