in australia we have this place called SEAWORLD it has a 6million litre tank and a huge filter

id buy that and kick all the skarks(most) out and put nothing but cichlids in it or make my own

So I would like to plough my money into something worthwhile, both helping others and conservation.

That sounds like a great idea. I think I would help you fund it if we both won a good share - as long as I get diving lessons so I can see it in person.

I'd love to get the big Arowana that's at the St Albans maidenhead aquatics......

That is a darn big fishy isn't it. I kinda wish it had a bit more space to live in as it is always swimming from end to end. But at least it can have a good look at all the different people and children walking around. It must be kept entertained.

I would first off buy myself a holiday to the great barrier reef for a month so I could watch fishies/turtles etc in their natural habitat and learn just what I need to have in my "barrier reef biotope". I would employ an ecologist to help me collect (legally) tiny corals as plankton and identify them, and package them ready for export to my home.

Once I have returned home I would grow the corals, send some to sea-life centres/zoos etc to help fill their displays, and place the rest in my enormous barrier tank. I would have a "knee height" to roof height display tank. 7 ft deep and 20ft long.

......right - off to buy a ticket! Euromillions tonight.

I would realise my dream of setting up two tanks. One 150 gallon steampunk style tank, like an enormous victorian science experiment with bellows and great glass domes filled with plants and shrimp adjoining the main tank filled with endlers and galaxy rasboros with bronze cories for the bottom.., the other, a 150 gallon goth tank. Black gravel, black and silver fish such as Black Khulie Loaches, Black cories, silver mollies and lampeye killifish. I'd find some way of making ornaments in the shape of band logos. I think the sex Gang Children skeleton reaper would look splendid marching across the tank! A half buried Sisters of Mercy logo and a bust of Nik Fiend rising from the "grave" , being zombiefied! . Ahhhh if only.....
