Thank god thats ended. 17 pages and finally I can add my own! I live in pompey with the fush 9-10 months a year weekdays, a lot of weekends i go back to salisbury, wilts and for 2-3 months a year the fishies come with back to salisbury...

Hi to the other pompeians what shops do you use? I cant find a decent one down here... Porton pets and aquatics is good in salisbury.

ginge - West leigh... Oh yeah I know the one. Really nice Good for plecs, but not many oddballs.

lucy - the arundel street sometimes has rare things, but its a rip off in there! Plus the owner is racist, he tries to bump up prices (even more) if he can and the tanks are appaling. He has cleaned up recently, but about 6 months ago... jees ... an example of price £12.50 each for sterbai corys, ouch!!!

Seriously, porton in salisbury is really good, one hours drive, They always tend to have eels and inverts and other oddballs in stock! And they are reasonable prices, for hardware too!!! Keep an eye out for deals.. i got a fluval 204 for £45 one week, bargain Oh and keep an eye out for mark up mistakes, bamboo shrimps are £5 but armoureds (blue/pinky purples) are £15. They marked them up the wrong way round recently... Oops

Any others? I have a car, so I will drive about an hour to get to a good shop...
