If You Had A 100 Gallon Tank

I thought the same thing after spending 260 on a double bass pedal I never use ;)

Dont know why you'd want to re-sell it, if you choose somthing you actually like to start with it will keep you content far long enough to justify costs :p

but anyways, ive said enough.

Its a long treacherous road into salt I started out wanting a clown fish and now. I'd end up with tangs, blennys, dwarf angels, firefish, wrasse and possibly lions. And don't even get me started on corals.

I might just get a 10 gallon and put a clown or 2 in it.

Depending on the dimensions I'd go with either a few large Americans (JD, Oscar, Chocolate, Severum) or seeing as I already have a small mbuna tank I'd turn it into an African Hap tank and get some nice blue dolphins etc.

100 gallons = 454 litres............ That's a meaty tank. I think if you did go down the guppy route, it would be quite a trippy tank... all those colours shimmering...

Any New world Cichlid personally.

I wouldn't waste 450l of tank of guppies I mean you can put them in a 10G.

If you can afford it go marine!

I'd probably keep it to a semi-agressive freshwater tank. Probably would end up being a loach tank. Besides, a 100 gallon tank isn't that much.

God Bless,
Joshua

Given I already have a 55-gallon planted and am working on a 55-gallon reef, I'd want to do something different. Don't really like cichlids. Hrrm...I'm going to say one of these two options.

1. Freshwater paludarium, Orinoco biotope, heavily planted. Include Black Morpho Tetra, Blackwing hatchetfish, Nannostomus anduzei (pencilfish), Otocinclus vittatus, and a pair of Rams. Above the water, have Dendrobates leucomelas (a type of Poison Dart Frog), and a suitably small frog of the Hyla genus.

2. Brackish paludarium with salinity of about 1.005 planted with mangroves. Stock includes group of Indian Mudxkippers, Fiddler Crabs, Red-nosed shrimp, Bumblebee Gobies, and nerites.
