Ie Lighting

I have just ordered the required chemicals to start up IE. Im just following the basic dosing guide in the pinned topic at the top of the page for mixing the solutions and dosing them to the tank.

I current have a 125l tank with 4 18w lights. This is producing about 2.1 WPG.

Should I add an extra light to bring the WPG to 2.7 or is it fine how it is.

I would have thought that provided it is of sufficient quality, 2.1WPG should be enough to grow most anything.

Yeah, I agree. I made the mistake of thinking higher lighting was better but it simply drives growth until it becomes a nightmare to keep up with. I was up to armpits every week pruning!

2wpg gives good steady growth.
