I think in the second pics. the fish you said its your favorite, it looks like an Aulonocara and the others
look like mabunas. I think you should NOT keep them together as mabunas are more aggresive. Both these fish come from Lake Malawi but different parts of the Lake.

If this is wrong please feel free to correct me.

i think "b" is an aulonocara hybrid that will have been bred with a usisya at some point
i think "c" is a young usisya
picture "d" looks like red zebra top and lombardoi bottom
 
Sam i can't help much on the ID side of things. But i'm juxt curious that red zebra(that is acually yellow) were you sold it as a yellow lab because if so i think i have been stitched up also.
 
no but i was sold it as a yellow fish lol.

its now more a peachy pearlescent colour.


thought it mite of coloured up when it settled in but im startin to think the yellow was when it hadnt settled in. ie when it was at the LFS.
