any ideas what type he is? we inherited the tank and fish and have no idea.

I posted a thread here - http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=100690 - and they recommended I found out asap what type it is as it might grow too big for the tank we have (its a 70 litre / 15 uk gallon tank)

I'd really love to keep him but if he is going to get too big then I may have to find him another home.

You brought a fish not knowing what it was? :X

It looks like a Green terror to me aswell.

nope, like I said in my original post, we inherited the tank.

The fish were already there.

Yes that is a green terror, what size is you GT just now? and you say you have it in a 15 Gallon Tank???(although this is not directed at you as you have inherited the tank), you will have to invest in a bigger tank (55 UK Gal minimum and that is just for the single fish) as these fish grow to between 8-12" depending on their sex, thats if you want to keep him.

Lovely fish though :(

aww, damn, thats a shame... he's about 2.5 - 3 inches at the moment.

There is no way we will be able to fit a larger tank into our house, we only just managed to squeeze the 15 Gallon one in :)

Looks like I'll have to find him a home somewhere else :(
