I have a nicely planted 20 gallon freshwater tank, its been fully cycled for a couple of months. My orange fluorescent zebra danio just perished due to gill flukes I believe, and I am considering getting a new fish to add to the tropical community.
I am currently housing these fish in this tank, (with names I hope are correct):

1 Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami (shiny blue)
1 Blood Dwarf Gourami (mostly red with blue on fins)
1 Dalmation Lyretail Molly (black with light spots)
1 Bosemani Rainbow (yellow and blue with a bit of green)
1 Blue Tuxedo Platy (like shiny denim, blue)
1 Hi Fin Red Flame Platy -- red, with white belly and tail)
1 Fluorescent Pink Zebra Danio
1 Red-Eye Dwarf Puffer -- he's not aggressive towards my community!
1 Pictus Catfish
1 Hillstream (Butterfly) Loach -- the species that looks like a stingray

So... I am considering a new fish based on the fact that I think there is room for even more than one new fish. I am open to the possibility of getting another tank for more room as fish grow.
All of the fish seem to be flourishing with my relatively strong current and very high oxygen content, plus crystal clear water at about 77 degrees F. I have an Aquaclear 20 3 stage filter and an Aquaclear 20 Powerhead with Quick Filter attachment. I change the water when nitrates rise too much or if I give them a bit too much food. The ph stays close to 7. I have normal blue gravel as my base material. I change the water by treating my very alkaline, cloramine-enhanced water with NovAqua and SeaChem Neutral Regulator.

Please give me your suggestions for a new tank member based upon compatibility but also aesthetics.

Also, I'm thinking about something brightly colored or interestingly ornamental in some other aspect and perhaps that is no more than semi aggressive -- probably nothing with a long tail -- probably no guppies because of the puffer. I had once thought about an Angel, but that no longer seems like a good idea because of the puffer (a recent addition from a couple weeks ago). Any thoughts on that as well?

Thanks!

side question:

I'm deciding between these two:
Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami (shiny blue)
Blood Dwarf Gourami (mostly red with blue on fins)

After having both if you could only have one what would you pick?

Well, the Blue is much brighter of a color than the red. my particular fish have different personalities. The Blue it most dominant, and will usually not be scared off by the red, even when in his territory. Then red usually stays toward the bottom on the tank in his territory, and will usually run when in the others' territory or in the open water when the Blue approaches. but as all fish are different I would say pick your favorite color! Or set up new tank and put in an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. Always wanted one but my other fish would probably be eaten.

That tank is too small for the boesemani rainbow, and they need to be kept in groups of 6 or more.

I don't think he needs to be in a group that large in this community. I have my own "school" of fish that swim together and interact like many common schooling fish do, non-aggressively. That school of 4 is: my two platies, the molly, and said rainbow. His quality of life seems pretty fine to me at this point. I've read other people's bosemani rainbows turn dark colors when stresses. I hardly notice changes, and he's usually just the light blue not dark blue. Probably not stressed.. He may get too large, you're right. How fast do they grow? I have plans to get a second larger aquarium at some point, so that's not really an issue for me right now. Thanks! And I could still use some suggestions...
