Hi

I am not too sure what plants to put in my small 40 litre tank. The measurements are 38cm(l)x27cm(w)x46cm(h). Interested in what you guys think i should put in.

As C J Castle said, we need more info on your tank, this can dramatically change your options. If you have low-light and no supplementing CO2, ferts a good option would be a moss tank. If your patient moss can cover every available space in the tank and once it's established it can look fantastic. Cherry and tiger shrimp would be good inhabitants as well as some small Microrasbora species.

Hi,
The substrate is white sand and i have put in two 8w Aqua Glo bulbs, as for the CO2 i have the Red Sea Turbo C02 Bio System.

Sounds like a low light to me, in which case you're better of with undemanding plants. There is a link in my sig to a list of easy plants by Llj.
