What type of pleco is this?

L-72?????

common pleco is a bit vague tropicman, theres at least 3 specific plecs that get referred to that plus a dozen other nondescript plecs that can be mistaken for it, all with slightly different sizing!

e3ramirez - its hard to tell from that pic, lots of plecs have very very similar colouring. have you looked through planetcatfish? it might be easier for you to look at the pictures on there with the fish in front of you!

So let me get this straight, you're saying it's not a gibi due to the head shape, the side fins and its sailfin, then you say "so a gibi". Are you agreeing with me or no??? I'm confused lol.

I believe it to be a gibi due to the coloration and also due to the spots in the sailfin.

i think its supposed to be "to a gibbi" :good:

looks identical to a common get a better pic up but from that pic it looks justlike a common :good:

Dorsal fin and side fins look nothing like my old common. Also the colour seems a bit too light. Look at the difference between the plec in question and the real common plec next to it. :good:
