I did a bit of reading and saw that there are 202 species currently described in the Balitoridae family and 7 in the Pseudohomaloptera genus. Too many of these guys for me to keep track of. However the mystery makes them more enjoyable to keep
Got this photo before. I have discovered something interesting with these fish. The colour you see on that picture is when they are on a darker substrate. While when they are on sand they loose that colour completely.
Here is a good example the middle one is on an algae covered pebble while the other two are on the sand.
