I think it maybe a barbus tinfoilius

I'm not sure Wolf but I think it may be Baco Tinfoilius or after a closer look possibly Aluminium Foilius.

:fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish:

Mmm, judging bu the dorsal though it might be some sort of shark, but isn't quite the same as Labeo Foilus, so probably a subspecies. I'd guess Labeo Foilus Tinfoilus. They're easily confused with barbus tinfoilus though, so don't feel bad.

I disagree. I'm 99.9% sure that subspecies you're actually thinking of, is in fact "Labeo sillywolfo Tinfoilus" !

I've given up on those damn things, I just can't seem to keep them alive.

I wish I'd been in the hobby for more than a year and a half! I might actually stand a chance when Wolf ldoes another one of these threads!!

Very peaceful shoaling fish, can grow over 10” so best kept to larger aquariums, although not usually predatory its size should be respected when introducing small fish.

Best of all though - this extremely rare fish produces no waste ! :hyper:
Unless man-handled and not lovingly cared for - when it starts falling apart :/

Although its nature seems peacefull it is a real danger to bird life, particually chickens and turkeys which it may completely envelope and cause them to cook in their own juices
